Trip Itinerary
Welcome at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Accommodation: 3-star hotel in Kathmandu
Explore Nepal’s rich religious heritage with a guided tour of its major sites. Kathmandu, known as the City of Temples, boasts ancient monuments from the Malla period, offering insights into unique cultural traditions.
Following breakfast, guide will accompany you from your hotel on a city tour. You’ll visit four UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Boudhanath Stupa. Enjoy ample time for shopping, handicrafts and savoring local cuisine. After exploring these cultural treasures, return to your hotel for the night.
Following breakfast at the hotel, drive to Sundarijal, the launchpad for the hiking adventure. Trekking along stone-paved stairs and through the Shivapuri Wildlife Reserve, we ascend for over two hours, reaching a flat surface. Descending to Chisapani, relish close-up mountain views to our left. Spend the night at a guesthouse in Chisapani.
At sunrise, we relish mountain views, followed by a forested trail journey to Nagarkot after breakfast. Passing through a jungle and picturesque villages, we traverse verdant hills, taking in the beauty of hills, valleys, and mountains. Ascending and descending along a lush trail, we finally reach Nagarkot. In the evening, head to the view tower to admire the mountains and the stunning sunset. Rest for the night at a hotel in Nagarkot.
In the morning, go up to the highest point of your accommodation site to see the beautiful sunrise with mountains all around. After that, come back to the hotel for breakfast and take a lively path through green hills, farms, and cool villages like Rohini, Bhanjyang, Khalthung, and Robi Bhanjyang on the way to Dhulikhel. Upon reaching Dhulikhel, an amazing mountain-vista will be waiting for you. Stay at a hotel in Dhulikhel for the night.
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the mountains from Dhulikhel. After breakfast, check out the area and prepare to return to Kathmandu. A vehicle will pick you up from the hotel in Dhulikhel and drive you back to Kathmandu. Once reached Kathmandu, you will be dropped off at the hotel. Spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.
The seventh day marks the end of your cultural tour. You will have an option to fly home from Kathmandu or continue traveling to some other destinations.
Ideally, you will be dropped off at the airport three hours before your scheduled flight.
