Trip Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, our Sherpa Expedition & Trekking representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel. After checking in, a comprehensive briefing about the Mardi Himal trek awaits you, followed by a welcome dinner.
Commence the journey with a 6-7 hour drive to the Pokhara Valley, featuring the picturesque Phewa Tal (lake). Check-in at your hotel near Phewa Tal, where Lakeside offers numerous shops, bars, and restaurants for exploration.
Duration: 6-7 hours
A 30-minute drive leads to Phedi, the trek’s starting point. Ascend stone steps towards Dhampus, offering spectacular views of the Annapurna Ranges. Overnight stay at Dhampus.
Duration: 5-6 hours
Traverse through diverse landscapes, including rhododendron, birch, and oak forests. The overnight stay amidst the forest offers a serene and enjoyable experience.
Duration: 5-6 hours
Notice the change in vegetation as you enter a cooler, more jungle-like atmosphere. Views of snow-capped peaks, including Mt. Machapuchare, enhance the trek’s allure.
Duration: 3-4 hours
Embark on an early morning ascent to the trek’s highest point, providing a closer look at the majestic Mardi Himal. Return to High Camp to appreciate the colossal peaks.
Duration: 5-6 hours
Witness the sunrise and enjoy a warm breakfast before heading to Mardi Himal Base Camp via a viewpoint. Descend through shaded forests and terraced farmland to Low Camp for an overnight stay.
Duration: 7-8 hours
Descend through lush landscapes, cross suspension bridges, and reach Siding Village. Transfer to Pokhara, exploring attractions like Mahendra Cave and David’s Fall.
Duration: 6-7 hours
Return to Kathmandu by road or flight, enjoying a farewell night and dinner to cherish the memories of your trek.
