Embark on a transformative journey with the Manaslu Tsum Valley Trekking, a unique adventure that unveils the captivating beauty of the High Himalaya peaks, including the majestic Mount Manaslu, the eighth-highest peak globally. This expedition seamlessly blends the awe-inspiring landscapes around Manaslu with the mystical allure of Tsum Valley, also known as the Hidden Valley.

The enchanting Tsum Valley, adorned with Tibetan Buddhist charm, adds a refreshing dimension to our expedition. Commencing our journey, we drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, the trek’s starting point. Traversing terraced fields and picturesque villages, we trek along the Budhi Gandaki River, reaching Machha Khola. The trail then leads to Tatopani, known for its therapeutic hot springs, and onwards to Philim with stunning views of Mt. Sringi Himal.

Trekking through Chumling, we ascend to the Upper Tsum Valley, Chhokangparo, offering magnificent views of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Mt. Boudha Himal, and Mt. Himal Chuli. The journey unfolds through unique locations like Piren Phu (pigeon cave) and Mu Gompa, the highest point in Tsum Valley, presenting an opportunity to explore ancient monasteries and sacred sites.

Continuing our trek to Chumling and Deng, we traverse Gurung and Thakali villages, immersing ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of the region. Samagaon provides an acclimatization break, with options to explore Manaslu Base Camp or Pungiyan Gompa. The trek progresses to Samdo, Dharmasala, culminating in the challenging Larke La Pass at 5,106 meters.

Descending to Bhimtang, we witness exceptional views of the surrounding peaks before proceeding to Dharapani. The journey back to Kathmandu includes a drive to Besisahar and a bus ride, concluding our unforgettable trek.

Trip Itinerary

Upon arrival, a representative will facilitate your transfer to the hotel. If time allows, a guided tour of Thamel and assistance in acquiring necessary trek equipment will precede a welcome dinner and briefing about the trek.

Embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, passing through Dhading Beshi and Arughat. The journey involves a trail along the Budhi Gandaki River, providing glimpses of the surrounding landscapes. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Machha Khola.

Duration: 7-8 hours.

Cross the Machha Khola River, pass Khorlabesi, and reach Tatopani with its therapeutic hot springs. The trail ascends through a forested area, leading to Jagat Village, where we spend the night.

Duration: 6-7 hours

Embark on a 6-hour trek, passing through Salleri, Sirdibas, and climbing to Lokpa Village. The trail continues through Ekle Bhatti, ascending to a ridge along the Tsum Valley route. Stay overnight in Lokpa.

Duration: 5-6 hours.

Embark on a 5-hour trek to Tsum Valley, witnessing the first sights of this enchanting region. Descend to Chumling Village, known for its ancient monastery and traditional Tibetan-style houses. Overnight stay in Chumling.
Duration: 5-6 hours.

Cross a suspension bridge, marveling at the views of Ganesh Himal. Pass through Rainjam and Seru Khola, reaching Chokhangparo Village with breathtaking views of Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal, and Boudha Himal.

Duration: 5-6 hours.

A 6-7 hour trek takes us to Rachen Gompa, Shir Khola, Phurbe, and Pangdun villages before reaching Nile. Explore Mu Gompa, the highest point in Tsum Valley, and stay overnight.

Duration: 6-7 hours.

Descend from Gompa to Rachen Gompa, Chhule, and Phurbe, enjoying the forested landscape. Reach Chhokangparo for an overnight stay.

Duration: 5-6 hours.

Descend to Gho, cross a suspension bridge, and reach Rainjam Village. Continue to Tsum Valley, passing through picturesque landscapes, and reach Chumling for the night.

Duration: 6-7 hours.

Descend from Chumling to Lokpa, traversing Ghatta Khola. The trail winds through bamboo forests before reaching Deng next to the river for an overnight stay.

Duration: 6-7 hours.

Climb steeply and then descend to the Budhi Gandaki River. The trail leads through small settlements and Mani stones, reaching Namrung for an overnight stay.

Duration: 5-6 hours.

Trek through Lho Village, where the Mani stone walls create a timeless ambiance. Enjoy views of Ngadi Chuli and a detour to the Pungen Glacier. Reach Samagaon for an overnight stay.

Duration: 6-7 hours.

Acclimatization day with optional explorations to Pugyen Gompa, Birendra Tal lake, or Manaslu Base Camp. Stay overnight in Samagaon.

Cross rivers and reach Larkya Bazaar, a trading post, before climbing to Dharamsala. Overnight stay at Dharamsala.

Duration: 4-5 hours.

Challenging trek via Larkya La Pass (5,106m) with exceptional views of surrounding peaks. Descend to Bimthang for an overnight stay.

Duration: 8-9 hours.

Descend from high pastures, cross the Dudh Khola on a suspension bridge, and pass through rhododendron and oak forests. Reach Dharapani for an overnight stay.

Duration: 6-7 hours.

Final day with a local jeep to Besisahar and a bus back to Kathmandu. Return to the hotel.

Duration: 8-9 hours.

A representative will drop you off at the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
