Description
Embark on a transformative journey with the 17-Days Manaslu Circuit Trek, an exploration into the less-traveled realms of the Himalayas. This trek not only unveils the unspoiled natural beauty but also provides insights into the tranquil lifestyles of Tibetan Buddhists, marked by smiles and spirituality.
This trek serves as a profound escape from the hustle and bustle of suburban life. Traverse through remote Tamang and Sherpa villages, observing the resilient livelihoods forged in the rugged landscape. It offers a unique perspective, inviting introspection on the essentials of life.
The Manaslu Circuit Trek transcends temporal boundaries, leaving trekkers with a profound sense of peace and a broader perspective on life. Witness the endurance of the people in these remote regions, navigating through hardships and extreme weather while maintaining a spiritually rich existence.
The trail unfolds stunning vistas of snow-capped peaks, notably the iconic Mt. Manaslu (8163m), the “Spirit of the Mountain” and the world’s 8th highest peak. Photo opportunities abound, featuring glaciers, moraines, barren landscapes, waterfalls, alpine rivers, and spiritual encounters with Buddhist Gompas, mani stones, and fluttering prayer flags.
Commencing at Soti Khola, the trek follows the Budi Gandaki River northward to Deng village. The valley narrows, revealing alpine meadows and Tibetan villages at the base of Manaslu’s north face. Samagaun, the region’s third-largest village, awaits before the trek heads westward, crossing the renowned Larkya La Pass (5106m). The descent unfolds striking alpine meadows at Bhimthang, connecting with the Annapurna Circuit route, and concluding at Besisahar.
