The Ganesh Himal trek offers a unique cultural experience with the diverse ethnic groups of Gurung, Tamang, and Magar inhabiting the region. Beginning in Kathmandu, the trek unfolds with a scenic drive to Samari Bhanjyang, the starting point. As the trail winds through terraced farmland and traditional villages, it reveals the distinctive customs and cultures of the local communities.
The itinerary encompasses significant points such as Samari Bhanjyang, Katunje Bazaar, Kintang Phedi, Jharlang, Chalise, Hindung, Rajgang Kharka, Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake), Ganesh Himal Base Camp, and a return journey through Rajgang Kharka, Chalise, Laba Besi, Manyang Bhanjyang, Majhgaun, Budathum, and concludes at Arughat Bazaar.
